  1. Not sure if this is the one you want http://www.cbrxx.com/for-sale-wanted/11168...stock-cans.html
  2. yep! I could never figure out why the bracket kept moving down. That was when I had it double nutted. It wasn't very tight, but it was firm. A couple of weeks ago I had the tires replaced and the dealership asked if I wanted it pinned down with the axle nut. I said if you can make it work, sure, that would be great, thanks. Well.... now the bracket wouldn't move anymore. So, now there is a hole in the pipe. Good info! Thanks Quad.
  3. I have a cut in my Akrapovic pipe. About 2 inches long, and 1/4 inch wide. It's on the side that faces the wheel so making it look like it never happened isn't important, i just need to seal it up. I was thinking of using fiberglass resin, but if anyone has some knowledge to share.... I need it.
  4. Any Blackbird with under 10K will fetch retail price. You should have no problem selling the bike for the previously stated $6500.
  5. I have a similar undertail kit that I didn't use. $100 + shipping from 55024
  6. Somebody else got it... $164.50, that's a screeming good deal for a corbin smuggler seat. Even though the lid is cracked. For me it was the wrong color anyway so i was going to get it fixed and painted. Damn you Fasterspyder! Damn you! Better be a member here.

  9. You have to have the power commander or some other brand of computer go between to change the mapping of the motorcycle. When manufacturers build bikes they dyno map one bike and use that same map for EVERY bike they produce. So, even with no exhaust system changes EVERY bike (well, except fore the first one because that's the one that is properly mapped) should be dyno tuned for optimum performance. Performance: best H.P., best torque, which translates into best fuel economy and engine longevity. Changing the exhaust system you have changed the flow dynamic of the combustion process... Yes, you need the bike custom mapped.
  10. I stand on the left side of the bike (like everyone else), left hand on the left bar end, RIGHT HAND ON THE PASSENGER LEFT PEG BRACKET, right foot on the center stand assist arm... push down on the center stand and lift up on the passenger peg bracket.
  11. The un-named place is Exoticsportbike. I made a list of everything I wanted to get for the bike when I first got home with it. $15k, that's serious comittment.
  12. I sent a message to Rack In Motion, the place I got my Mototeck undertail kit from. He said the signals and the signal lenses get hot glued in place. WOW! What a cheap deal that is.
  13. oops, Looks like you were not fast enough to pull the trigger! Sold my last set of Shrooms and Grab Rail Inserts just now to Farmington, MN. John Yeh baby, yeh! WOOP WOOP. That's everything. I've owned my '03 BB for 7 weeks. Getting everything I wanted for the bike has been like taking part in a scavenger hunt. I ordered the grab rail inserts from a place that shall go un-named on May 9th. It took them over a month to inform me they weren't able to fill my order, and to date they still haven't credited my credit card. BUT, I have everything now!
  14. The horizontal. Which version did you buy ? the one with the 2 round brake lights or does it have horizontal tail lights ? 1. Nuts go on inside of undertail that attach to the bolt on the back of the led's, which hold it in place 2. Signal led's same way. 3. Dont know but probably use those to attach to tail fairing section & to help reduce vibration noise issues 4. See above 1 & 2 go to tail lights & signals
  15. I bought one of these, but haven't installed it yet. The directions are incomplete, and the pictures are impossible to make out. 1. What holds the signal lenses in place? The tail lights have bolts that screw from the inside of the undertail. 2. What holds the signal LED's in place? 3. What are the 5 nut, bolt and washers for? 4. What are the 4 rubber grommet nut, washer, bolts for?
