No Problem, I just went through the research on this exact search to install with the new GB Sprocket and new GB Wheels and tires. All fresh and new with lots of bling and a credit card bill to make me cry Now if I can learn to spell and type I will be all set !!

The ZVM2 is the new design Top Chain by DID. I has an even better spec sheet than the previous ZVM. The new ZVM2 comes in choice of Gold or regular black steel as before. The #2 is just an improved version of the ZVM it replaced. hence more cost to us

I ordered mine through Honda Directline. I did the research first to discover the new model DID ZVM(2) rather than the regular ZVM. It comes in gold or regular black steel color. More expensive but is suppose to be the latest greatest from DID. I paid $160.00 delivered (110 link)

I replaced mine with a Honda sprocket. It's the only one that has the rubber damper. It's 17t stock. Ok I ordered a new DID 530 ZVM2 today (gold link) the latest greatest supposedly ! Trying to order the stock OEM Honda Front sprocket w/dampner but can't figure out the Part Number ? Anyone know the Honda Part number for the front ?

Just ordered a new Honda front sprocket w/dampner 17 tooth and D.I.D 530 ZVM2 Gold link chain. Expensive but is the new ZVM 2 design, stronger, higher tensil strength plus it is available in that Gold Bling color !! also ordered a couple bags of the plastic push pins for future use that always seems to come in handy Now for the new GB rear sprocket to come in and the new GB wheels with tires to arrive and I will be all set. Broke but the Bird will look good in my driveway !!!

I have a GB Rear ZX12 ordered Gonna stay stock size front and rear. Gonna order a stock size front, 17 I think it is, just wondering on brand of front as a recommendation.

Thanks Josh, Now any recommendations on front sprockets (stock 17t). Guess I will put a new one on as well with the new rear and new wheels and new tires and new chain !!!

I forgrt the name of the stuff but ... Don't use ant killer cause that is what causes them to move . You don't kill the queen with killer just some of the workers and they move . There are a couple of products that are actually ant food !!! cept the food containes a sterilizer that will sterilize the queen. It takes about 2-3 weeks to work but they fed on it and pretty soon the queen cannot produce any more and what she does produce are sterile also. The life of an ant is very short, like 3 weeks but a healthy queen produces hundreds of babies every day. Sterilize the Queen and the piles become sand to spread around the lawn. Just sprinkle the powder on the mound and watch the worker ants take the food down into the mound to feed it to everyone inside. Don't disturb the mound just sprinkle on top. Works great - just don't lick your fingers after application !!

Not a USA Spec Bird Problem. Was fairly common with the Euro models tho. Anyone that was at NEXXT saw me have a similar problem going to the Drag Strip. Turned out to be the connection between the PC2 and the ECM. Unplugged and cleaned with contact cleaner and coated with electro grease and no more problems. My bet is the only thing to watch would be the corrosion at the connectors. If it looks green then clean and grease it

I lived in P-cola for 14 years and depending on where in Pensacola the Bike was during the storm will make a big difference. The downtown area and Historic area are very low and were pretty much completely under water. Also Warrington, were the Naval Air Station is, was under water for the most part also. There is someone on this board that lives in Pensacola if you can locate them they will probably check out the Bike for you as long as it is not the Bike in question to begin with. I still have a good friend that lives there that I might be able to get him to stop by and take a look at the Bike for you if needed. Let me know if I can help.

I think you question need clarifying A throttle "LOCK" does not really exist that I know of ! There are a few different types to hold the throttle is any given position. The Vista and the Throttlemeister are two examples of products to hold the throttle in a set position. I personnaly sell many Vista's all over the world but have a Throttlemeister on my own Bird. Both are easy to install and both work as advertised. The ease of use is much greater with the Vista but the appearance is obtrusive at best. The TM looks great and match's my Barender lock or a stainless barend weight nicely but takes a bit of getting use to when using it. If you are frequent user then I would recommend the Vista but for occasional use the Throttlemeister works well and looks great. I like the Throttlemeister for my own use. On all that I know of, you can adjust for more or less friction to hold the throttle in a set position while still easily rolling off when braking or slight adjustments for hills, brakelights or whatever reason needed.
