I guess in Italy or where ever these are made, I'm a XXL. Gloves problably have 50 miles on them and are in great/perfect shape. Still smell like new leather. I had a little crash last April and my cheap ass Sedici Cycle Gear gloves had several seams blow out. My Olympia Stealth did awesome as did my brand new Shoei Qwest. I decided then and there I would make the investment to wear real gloves for ever more. I bought these the day before I rode to Austin for MotoGP 2013 thinking they would stretch to fit. 25 miles in and I realized that they aren't the type of gloves to stretch. Another 25 miles later, I pulled over to put on my trusty Olympia waterproofs that I was carrying as back up. And haven't worn the AGVs since. Not the gloves fault for being too small. They have since been replaced in the rotation with XXL AGVs and Cortech GT Hydros--also XXL. You know what they say about big hands, right? Anyway, these Sidewinders have been sitting on my desk at work since the week after MotoGp in Austin last year. I do like having them on the desk as decoration and conversation pieces. But they need a new home and somebody that will wear them. $45 and I'll ship anywhere in the lower 48. If you buy them this week I'll include a couple of those lame ICON stickers I get in the mail every 6 month's or so in their fancy glossy promo mailing.
  2. Riding across Texas with Stan. That just sounds nice.
  3. Sounds like they didn't change out the suzuki or perhaps you/ve developed a kawasaki. Its not electrical so it isn't the triumph. Sorry I'm not much help here.
  4. I'm one up on the front and one down on the back. 18 and 43. Get about 45-48mpg slabbing it at a 80mph 4800rpm-ish loaded with my 240lbs and a large back pack ventura type set up. Still gives plenty of pull with the throttle alone. I'm comfortable knowing I can bang down a couple of gears if I want silly acceleration (and I often do).
  5. The new pictures hurt worse than the first posted ones did. Damn. What a great looking bike.
  6. Wow. not far at all. In fact I used to live there 78-86. Small world. I've passed your bike info to a couple of intereted fellows. I'll keep you updated.
  7. So 12 64470-MAT-A00ZB COWL SET, L. (TYPE6) 0 $310.70 it is, I hope you guys are right!
  8. On the Ron Ayers web site looking at fiche, it seems there are multiple version of the right side lower cowl/fairing. http://www.ronayers.com/LOWER-COWL-C166415.aspx I'm looking to get a #11 but am not sure why there are several versions or what Type 1,6,11, or 12 means or why some are referred to as a set and others not. Seems to me if it is in the box noted as #11, it should be included, right? Anybody got any ideas? I tried the ROn Ayers 1-888 number with out success, evidently I just don't have the constitution to hang on hold as longs as some
  9. I don't know what a gunt is but it is fun to think about.
  10. Josh, Clear out your inbox. You got mail and then some.
  11. ooof......beautiful. Make Brett buy it so we can all ride it at OzarXX. It will do a burn out, won't it?
  12. Tell them you want a cashiers check as sign of honest intent to purchase, to help you negotiate. Tell them you will deduct the amount of the check from the final agreed selling price.
  13. I would be interested in trying a $125 carbon can to replace my wore out D&D, I am curious about the available baffle for $15. My D&D is getting even more obnoxious so I'll have to do something soon. We'll see what they say about the proper inlet ID to slip on to my mid pipe.
  14. Damn you carbies, my FI seems to run hot all the time.
