  1. I have LED's front and back. I like the quick blinking. More blinks = more attention.
  2. Nice yoshi's... i have the same ones. They sound perfect.
  3. I have heard that the tire actually deforms and tries to roll over on itself.
  4. You can just buy some premade LED inserts and pop them in. Much like i did with the lower one.
  5. I made this one myself. Installed a 50led programmable strobe (or continuous on) light on the bottom. Custom made the top myself
  6. You packaged it all back together w/o testing first? Really dude? You must have more time than me.
  7. When i pulled the cap off mine, the bus connectors stayed with the harness and did not come off with the cap. I would have been confused too, if that had not happened and i was just looking at a bunch of empty pins.
  8. Isn't the starter relay the same as the other 3 relays that are close to the battery? If so, i'd say change them around and see if the problem stays the same.
  9. You are overthinking this. Group like wires together. Keep the others separate. This is a job for a monkey.
  10. There are bus connectors that link all the pins together. Group the wires together with a ziptie according to how the bus connectors are linking everything together. What is together stays together. What is apart stays apart. That simple.
  11. I think you made the wrong decision trying to seal the test loom connector back up. It is a super easy fix. Just zip tie all alike wires together. Clip them off. Strip wires. Solder together. Put some shrink over the ends and wrap it all up. Now that you 'think' you have 'sealed' everything back up, you will always be wondering if the problem will creep in again. If you solder you're golden forever.
  12. Zero...the block is completely encased in tape. Start from the back of the bike instead of the top. It is directly above the chain almost where the swingarm bolts to the frame. There is only one place there is a big lump in the harness. I didn't take the tank off at all. Note...disconnect the battery before you start messing with wires. You can short out anything and everything including the ECM from the test loom. pic of the connector http://www.flyingferrets.eclipse.co.uk/inf...l/connector.htm
  13. Go ahead and try to sell them as a set...if they do not sell.. hit me up. I actually want them for my F4i, which had its bar ends fall off for some reason. Odd.
  14. Do those bar ends fit the stock clipons? If so, i'll take em.
  15. Does the 2004 XX have the test loom connector above the chain, like my '99? If so, that sounds like the same nonsense i had go wrong.
  16. It looks like it has an aftermarket RR on it. One of you guys with a stock RR might want to snag that quickly. Second look..it might be stock.
  17. This is just as laughable as the previous one...which if you followed it you would would be fat as a friggen cow. Just looking at the chart (which does not separate out fats) you should be eating 75% carbs. Good luck with that.
  18. That is not a real strength training movement. If your back is so weak that this excercise makes you significantly stronger, you have a very weak back. Focus on the DL's and you will see huge improvements. I assume the leg training you're taking about is squats? If squats are hitting your back that hard, you're either doing too much weight (and its dangerous to do that) or your form needs work.
  19. From someone that has had inflamation in my bicept tendons, i know what you are taking about. I had 2 excercises that i completely eliminated from my routine and (with self therapy) they have not come back. Avoid: Straight bar curls. These are not a natural movement. I replaced them with curl bar curls and dumbell hamercurls. Avoid: Skull crushers for tricepts These tore up my tris. I replaced them with dumbell skull crushers (palms facing in, lying down on a flat bench) which allow for nice fluid movements. You need to take a couple advil and ice your sore areas after EVERY time they are irritated. Always advil than ice. You will have very quick recovery with this method. I agree that Deadlifts (DL's) are hands down the absolute best back workout. They are not optional. Anyone looking to build a solid core MUST do DL's. Think of it this way. DLs are to back as bench is to chest. They are that fundamental for a strong body and back. You cannot and must not avoid them. As a side benefit to DL's, you work bicept as a secondary muscle group.
  20. Care to explain your solution? Coincidentaly I've been having a rich mixture issue, and ended up swapping out the ECU. I also had left my GPS on for a week and killed the battery, rather then wait to charge it up I just bought a new one. No more black smoke. Now I don't know if it was the battery change or the ecu swap, what would a new battery solve? Since trouble shooting is really just elimination of components, i always start with the easy stuff. A while back, i screwed up the wire loom fix by leaving the batter in as i was messing with wires. I blew my ECU. Got it replaced. And still had huge issues,,, hard starting. Barely idle. Running very rich. Computer throwing codes left and right... I replaced the battery. All was fine...instantly. I find that in most cases on hondas the RR or the battery is the issue.
  21. Try a new battery first. You can always take it back. How many volts are you generating across the batt terminals when the bike is at about 3k rpm?
  22. I replaced everything from the cat back on my pathy for 450. Not that big of a deal.
  23. Thanks for the write up. I would do some quick testing to make sure the fronts aren't going to get super hot. They are on all the time and that might cook them. 3W of energy is alot to dissipate w/o any air flow. I put about 16 Lumileds up front in each of my turn signals. I used red through an amber lens and people get out of my way at night on the highway.
  24. I have found that the Craftsman Professional series is worth the extra coin. The tips are made of a very hard material and they do not seem to show wear. They really grip and fit into metric Jap head well. They also have a flat surface under the handle so that you can get a wrench on it if you need to.
  25. Ur boss has you running his errands? I would buy it if i didn't already have one.
