Does anyone know where to buy factory "clip-on" wheel weights vs. the cheap "stick-on" weights? It's tire changin' time and I would like to do it right this time. Thanks! Terry

I would have thought that they would use clear or white LED's. Wouldn't the red lens filter red light? I remember reading that somewhere? Oh well...

Auxiliary Lights? Don't bother.... Try a HID low beam (or high beam). They install in 20 minutes, are brighter than any PIAA or Motolight and instead of drawing an additional 9+ amps from your electrical system they will actually save you about 1 1/2 amps when you replace your stock 55w H7 bulb w/ one of these. I know Wolf Exhaust http://www.wolfexhaust.com uses Borla cans for some of their underseat systems. But I've never seen a Borla exhaust system for a bike :?:

Goto: http://www.factorypro.com For a carb'd XX with stock airfilter and slipons they suggest 142's on all 4 carbs and shimming the new needles at the 2nd position using the stock circlips as shims. This will cleanup the flat spot between 4k-5k and give you a liitle more power on top.

I just finished Installing my Akropovic system and replaced the plugs, air filter and re-jetted (I know....jetting? whats that? ) w/ 148's(may be a littie rich but I'd rather keep it a little rich 'til I hit the eddy dyno next month). What RPM are you syncing your carbs at :?:

1. Givi windscreen 2. Helibars/03 VFR800 bars 3. Throttlemeister 4. Some kind of cover for the GIVI bags when they're off the bike (unless they are flat black) - the painted covers scratch if you even LOOK at them too hard and the folks @ Givi NEVER have replacement lids in stock. They only ship to north America via container ship and it takes them 6 weeks to get ANYTHING regardless of the customers sense of urgency.

Try replacing the fluid first (DOT4). Performance gains from braided lines are minimal. It's fresh fluid that makes the difference most people feel.

Heard from Mike from Hightechspeed.com. The XX lights are done and he expects them in from his manufacturer sometime in the middle of March.

They are priced reasonably and are willing to work with motorcyclists (alot of HID shops will only sell you HID lamps in pairs) A single H7 HID in the blackbirds low beam makes a world of difference - I hardly see my highbeam anymore and only use it for daytime use. Also, because of the way the blackbirds reflector is set up I don't seem to really bother oncoming traffic. Good Luck. :grin:
