  6. Oh, no, no, no, no.... whenever I can get around to doing another GB, it won't be these TastyNut Ti bolts... I am honor-bound to do the Pro-Oiler GB first. Fuck me running, I've only been trying to get to that for about 6 months now. It's been like a frickin' Greek tragic comedy, trying to find the free time to finally get to that one... While they are EXCEPTIONALLY cool, the Ti bolts are not exactly inexpensive... example: looks like they are $39 from MotoWheels: Honda Ti windshield bolts The Targa web site has XX windscreen aluminum buttonhead windscreen fasteners (pack of 6) for $11, and come in a bunch of anodized colors... but they look kinda odd/out of place, and a little cheap (personal opinion). More importantly, the aluminum fasteners don't add 4 hp to the rear wheel like the Ti bolts do... do they come with the bug guts or is that extra charge?? :icon_shifty:
  7. it's amazing the mileage you can get when you have the bike on a trailer
  8. sounds like an opportunity for a group buy i could use a total bike gold anodized set for rhonda 2 windsheild as well as fairing. you got your ears on dale :icon_think:

    sorry

hayabusa does sound like a japanese pasty? :icon_shifty:
  10. you would think since honda makes the most dependable motorcycles, snowblowers, etc their service departments would be above reproach. after my trip off az 191 i took my bird to davis honda in montrose. i told them" i didn't care about the cosmetics just make sure it was mechanically sound" they replaced all the plastics but didn't catch the obviously bent forks. after involute showing me how to replace a rear wheel at tbme :icon_think: i think im going to start doing more of my own maintanence!!!!
  11. i don't really think there is any difference between the name brand gas and the inexpensive gas, except lining the pockets of the big gas companies that have been taking advantage of rule #8. one time many years ago i followed one of those gas delivery trucks and it stopped at two major brand stations and one cheap station. i've always put cheap gas in my sports cars and in my motorcycles with no problems. :icon_snooty: also my bird runs better on regular than it did when i thought it needed premium
  12. i cover all the scratches on my 99 with a magnetic tank bag that put the scratches there in the first place :icon_duh:

    oil leak

this happened to me last fall on a trip to phoenix i parked next to a hardly in flagstaff and when i got outside prescott and stopped for gas i had a puddle but still had plenty of oil when i checked it. in phoenix i took it to a honda dealer in scottsdale and they ended up replacing the valve gasket. moral:: don't park next to hardlies. :icon_nono:
