Update:
Talked to the uship driver this morning. He's in VA now (verified it on GPS tracking) but he's criss crossing the state a couple times for various pickups. Looks like the day for pickup will be Sat/Sun. I told him to step on it.
I'm sure it will be as clean as it looks. Kate was great in getting me pics all over the bike and shots of the title/registration....etc. She was great to work with via such a long distance.
Ohhhhh, boy. Does she have it posted all over the place, or just here for now?? Gimme a day or two to mull this over. Consider it a very interested party, I'll make the call on Monday.
She doesn't have it posted anywhere.... she enlisted my help to post it for her.
I'm in the process of setting up several CL ads and I was going to post it on the
other boards that I have frequented over the years.
Fuck it. I'll buy it. I can sell it for more than that if needed.
I'll PM my info.

It's in the subject line.... probably too high for you to see
I can't see what you responded.....all I can see is the bottom edge of my monitor.........
Interesting price. Is she firm??? Just looking around for a track tool.
Fuck that's a good price!
Take me out of line.......if the wife hadn't gotten the job boot, you'd have your money by now.
But as it sits, I need sell hers too, and get her a cheap ass flip phone.
Life is fun, then not sometimes....on a dime.
I'm going to go ahead and presume to speak for everyone else ( ) when I say you sound like a guy to have a few beers with.
Great project, great looking bike. Can't even imagine the amount of time......keep it up!
Face it.....Hobi was in this thread simply for the "feel it out" portion of the title. Hey wait a minute...Hobi!! Down here!! Feel it out, bad boy!!
I say keep it. Love it. Don't give a shit about the money. Done.
Fine - never thought of blasting with soda-- latest thing in the log renovation business is blasting with dry ice, I have no idea how that works.
Any idea where to get a compass/temp setup?
soda blasting has been around a lot longer than dry ice blasting. we do alot of mold remediation and dry ice blast using a couple different size cold-jet units. soda blasting is the same concept.....load soda into a hopper....feed it compressed air....viola. it IS messy as HELL though....and coldjet makes a unit we have that actually shaves block ice instead of using pellets that can be used on such a delicate setting you can blast smoke soot off the pages of a book. it's cool shit.
She knows......she's.......going to get used to it. I told her, "at least I don't fish......then I'd be pouring money into a hole in the water, your luckier than you could ever imagine!!!"
That went over.....so,so. :icon_silenced:
