Don't be afraid to try more than 6mm, especially if you are a sportier rider. I have mine at 10 -12 and love it. It makes the center stand useless though.

I think it goes on the passenger peg mounts. All up under the tail section.

Question, Where is a good place to tap into power on the XX. I have the lead to my license plate light available but I'm not sure if I should put a 1-2 amp draw(intercom) on that little wire .

I done got me a penske, Put it on tonight. Boy it feels nice. Pd $725 but that included a 10mm longer shaft. Does anyone have any Ideas on a good location for the resevoir ? How waterproof is it ?

Well here is my map, for those who want to try it. It was done by an AMA Pro racer. It is a full range map, not just a peak HP map. It was done on my 2000xx with slipon 4.5" round microns http://nerdmafia.com/rockme01/BigJeff.map If you try it please give feedback.

One last thing to try. There was no uninstall for the software, so I had to install the old over the new. Maybe there were still some files F ing me up. I'm going to try the Original software on a laptop that has never had the software on it. Cross your fingers.

Well I tried the software that came with it and No Dice AGAIN !!! It was ver 2.07.03.03 It gave the same error message " file and power commander version incompatible." The software was dated 5/00
