  1. Test drive??? Is the noise gone?
  2. "We evaluated the improperly installed chain you sent us. It was readily apparent that the correct tools were not used on this chain, damaging it and rendering it unsafe. For legal reasons we are unable to return it to you. We are, however, sending you a decal and hat. Thanks for supporting our products!"
  3. Now I putting you on ignor. Don't waist even more posting energies.
  4. I am amateur. I only know old engines. I will now go for fucking myself.
  5. Is that the R1 crank you melted down in the background? You never did explain what you did to nuke your motor.
  6. Changing the bearings is foolish. Pack it with saw dust and 90-120 hypoid. That motor won't make enough power to do shit. Sell the jack wagon pronto.
  7. Jt wants the chain back to relieve you of any evidence of defective product, and eliminate any actual liability on their part. Once they get it, it ceases to exist. They aint testing shit.
  8. They are suffer. Should consider sock puppet like above.
  9. How many miles on this chain?? The sprockets?
  10. Is that a judgement you made based upon your cam chain fiasco? What was the cause of that? What would have got between this chain and sprocket?
  11. From your bike or car?
  12. I don't really notice a difference. Of course you probably would have to ride them both on the same day at a track to tell. I haven't put enough miles on the second set to compare life.
  13. Great deal. Might want to buy a set to put away for the next trip
  14. Yeah, the first set I had were Angel GT's. The set I have now are the II's. Did you pay $199 each?
  15. If you can, balance check the trashed tire on the rim, remove that tire, and check the rim with a dial indicator if the bearings feel good. I've never done more than eyeball the alignment of the rear tire via the chain. But if that was way off it could affect tire wear. On my last long trip, I thought I could do it with the tread life I thought I had. I was wrong and luckily found a dealer with a correct Angel GT rear. The genius they had mounting and installing the tire had no clue how to do the job properly. When I got home I corrected it.
  16. Mine has the same bags. No top case though. Check the rear tire balance before throwing on new rubber and let us know how it was. Check the wheel bearings too, and throw a dial indicator on the rear rim to see if it's bent. I'm gonna guess you rode some rough roads. Best to check if it runs true. Tires can get expensive. Mine has ohlins too, and is stiffer than stock by far. On my second set of Angel GTs and I really like them for the XX. Think I am at 42psi on the rear. You may want to do a quick check to be sure the swing arm and shock linkage us smooth without binding or play. How much gear were you carrying (lbs)?
  17. John is the real deal! Had a spare CCT I purchased from him along with a few other items. Mine went bad a year or so back and it was a quick fix. This reminds me to get a spare now.
  18. My 97 with Givis at speeds over 140 picks up a tail wag. Never affected my Angel Gt's like your picture. What tire pressures are you running? Obviously suspension set up will affect weight distribution as well. Stock suspension? Mine is sprung for a 230lb rider, and heavy loads on the back don't negatively affect it as much as I suspected. Have you balance checked the wheel/tire after the trip?
  19. I was able to replace mine by simply removing the side panels and tank.
