First what is SEAFOAM, and second you only need 91 or 92 octane anything higher is not a performance gain. Octane any higher is only helpfull IF you have a high compression engine or hot engine detonation problem. Scientifically you are 100% correct. Mentally it makes my bikes and cars faster. Plus you get gas octane braggin' rights. well acording to the gas companys there higher octane fuel has some type of engine tretment in it. Ron thanks Doug u r a nice guy!!!!!!!!!!

just got back from a 10 mile ride, left the store the light came on in a 1/2 mile. turn the key off restarted it rode the rest of the way with no problems. I will try again after lunch. I will ride til it comes on then take the PC-111 off and see if it comes on. I will see if I can get a code on it has anyone had a FI come on because of the cold temp.

I put a new PC-111 on the bike then had a dyno done. new plugs new air filter, K&N It is stock with erion slip ons I am going to ride it down the road here in a little bit. temp about 60 now. thanks Ron

the FI light came on again this morning. I did the loom fix and the light has not come on for a 100 miles are so, did not come on during the dyno run. this morning it came on, same thing runs perfect til it comes on then you can feel a power loss,[ very small amount] it will still run no misses. I can turn the key off start it back, the light stays off, then it happens again. I have had time to check anything yet. It was about 43 degrees. [ this morning] can the air temp have anything to do with the FI light coming on,.? I rode it last nite temp about 65 and the light didn't come on. I will get it out when it warms up, later today any suggestion. my baby is sick, please help, sad in Mississippi. Ron

on a drag race only bike. stock with pc-11 4-1 headers, should I use a exhaust can, [ for back pressure ] or will the PC-11 compenseate for low or no back pressure. this will be on a carb XX motor. would go to the trouble to put FI on it, so I can run a PC-111, thanks Ron

I just got of the phone with Dynojet I talk to mike about the 2% increase for the ram air, he said that it was good to add this to the tune, that is what they recomend. to there tune centers. I don't know anything about this stuff, I DO know that my bike is like riding a defferent bike, it is much more smother than before the PC-111, the power IS much stronger. I am going to guess 10% more SOTP I would not say HP wise put 10% better feel. before say in 3rd at 4000 it ran strong but at 6,000 is when it really started to pull, now in 3rd it is a steady hard pull I don't notices when it gets to 6,000. In 1st I could lift the front easy, but now it will come up faster. It could run better if I took the 2% out, I don't know, right now I am going to leave it like it is. Dynojet should know what they are talking about???? Ron

I can burn you a cd if you want one. my tuner added 2% after he got done with the tune to compensate for the ram, IMO if the tune center does know about the ram air effect I would go somewhere else. I don't know much there should be some on this board that will help you. I maybe wrong about this but look for a tuner that has a PC 250 dyno. If enough people is want it I can go and have a side cover analized, the gold, and split in with everyone that wants a little.
