  1. Paul, Welcome to the Board. I have not heard of that problem before, on this site. Basically, the XX is a ride it and forget it bike, not to much in the way of problems. Personally, I would ride it for a few thousand K's and see if it still is problematic, and if so, take it back to the dealer and let them find it.
  2. I put the stock Honda oil back in my forks when I took them apart for the RaceTech springs last year. I'm happy with it, but I'm sure that there are other goods ones out there.
  3. Welcome WillXX, The Honda recommended service interval is indeed at 16K and again at 32K. A couple of forum members have gone well beyond the 32K without any adjustments being needed. Should you ignore the recommended check? Not if you feel like it may need it, but most of the comments that I've seen here so far indicate that even at the 32K and 48K check, no adjustment has been needed. Do whatever makes you comfortable and always error to the side of caution.
  4. Dyno oil until around 8K miles then I switched to Mobil 1 15w-50. I don't have any history with the Mobil 1, other that my present bike, the XX.

Don, You'd Fuck a snake, if someone would hold it for you!
  6. Not to worry Alpha.....I'm not sure that you will ever grow up!
  7. I've got a set of the 35/36s and have a little over 6K miles on them. I've just ordered a set of the 45/46s because of the way that the other set wore and gripped. I am completely satisfied with the Avons.
  8. I've got a set of the 45/46s ordered from M.A.W. and should be here next week sometime. I'm going to put them before I get into the serious riding season time. I'll update how they stick on the Dragon this summer.
  9. Let me be the first to endorse the newenough.com company. Exxcellent customer service, good, sometimes great pricing, and fast shipping on quality products. On many of their items they write a short review about it to be able to help you decide whether or not the item will meet your needs. Highly reccommended.
  10. Probably not, except that the more connection points that you have, the more potential "trouble" spots in the circuit. In electrical circuitry, the fewer connection/splices that you have the better off you are.
