  1. Exactly, remove the whole sensor to relieve back pressure. It may be hard to tell with the extra loud exhaust but it's a free quick test.
  2. If the new plugs don't do it here is a test to see if the catalytic converter is faulty. Remove one of the o2 sensors and see if the problem still exists.
  3. Yup can't wait. If I didn't need a new clutch, sprockets and chain my labor time would be lower. Of course you always see or want to do something else "while it's apart". I'm also adding two gauges which I still don't know how I'm going to mount them. Spring is around the corner and I'm dyin to ride the turbo bird.
  4. The money is burning a hole in my pocket..... I'll take one carb kit turbo please. I've been talking to Hank and I am chomping at the bit to get my kit WOO HOO!
  5. I'm ready to pull the trigger. I've got money in my 401k and I don't think I'll enjoy it when I get old and feeble so.....
  6. In case you didn't know here is some helpful information. Look at the date code on the tire and find out when it was made. It is a 4 digit code and it looks like this. The first two are the week of the year the last two are the year it was made.
  7. I received the shock today! Thanks Stefan for the quick shipment! :icon_thumbsup:
  8. Thanks guys! I guess the rear spring installed on a VFR shock has some bonuses according to my friend and that's what he wants. Let me know fellas! Thanks again.
  9. Anyone have a stock rear spring for a BlackBird? Thanks!
  10. Those aren't tranny codes. They should start with a P... For example the closest trouble code for the numbers you list are. P0740= Torque Converter Clutch Control Circuit. Is the trans in "limp mode"? Does it start in second gear when driving? More info please.
  11. My claim to fame is rebuilding first gen v4 Honda engines to stock specs. This whole engine project is just plain mouth watering (in a horsepower kind of way). I have been looking at the pictures closely and trying to soak up all of the great information that is front of me. It's just amazing to me what you can do if you just put your mind to it.
