  1. Its used, and it's a rider so I say no. For or someone who wants a very capable gentlemen sportbike on a budget it's perfect.
  2. Long story short I tripped and fell into a silver VFR800. 42k miles, clean title, few scratches on the right but no breaks in the plastic. Two Brothers cans, fresh tires, clean title. I own it but it's currently sitting at BMW of Manhattan. I plan to pick it up next week and drive back to TN - can drop it off along the way. Asking $2700
  3. fucking thing fell over the side of my canoe. Can you believe that?
  4. Hehe - you and me both. i don't have pleasant memories of my last 12ga.
  5. Have no idea what Dave said about my man card - but I'm thinking those who live in glass houses...
  6. He lives in the 'holler round the bend. I'm not much of a hunter, but I dont currently own a shotgun and I'm not sure that should stand.
  7. Gimme a shout on this... I may trade you for an IBA cert.
  8. This caught my eye while I was at Bloodworths in Nashville today - thought there might be an interest on the.org. 09 Concours, maroon, 14k miles. Minty condition. Ohlins rear shock, Ohilns valves and springs up front. Aftermarket exhaust. asking $6995. Very nice bike overall. http://www.bloodmotor.com/default.asp?page=xPreOwnedInventoryDetail&id=2080514&p=2&s=Year&d=D&t=preowned&fr=xPreOwnedInventory
  9. What the fuck state are you living in? I see AR-type guns in trucks around here all the time. Dude, you have neighbors in line of sight - you dont need big bang guns. .17 or .22mag is what you should get. (and you know my record on being right)
  10. Thats wierd - as I've said elsewhere, my experiences with the VFR1200 were just the opposite. I rode one about 300 miles when I lived in Virginia. It was the most souless motorcycle I ever road. So smooth and so quiet - relatively - it didnt stir me anymore that a sewing machine does. Twist the grip and the world went by faster, but you couldnt tell the motorcycle was contributing to that. I felt disconnect from the bike. Hated it.
  11. You should. Get something low dollar to bang around on. Come to SEXXT.
  12. I see you marked this bought - but are you done? One of my BMW area managers is putting his up for sale.
  13. You gonna buzz down for SEXXT?

      Heya Scott,

Doubtful. Too many family obligations right now. I'll be thinking about you guys though. Have fun and be safe!

Stop by for a visit any time if you get up this way.

  14. Ugh. I owned one of these for about 5 minutes back in 2010. Its like dating an Italian supermodel. You look good on it, its fun to ride for about 10 minutes. The rest of the time its bitching, whining and taking your money. I was glad to be rid of it.
  15. That bikes starter relay is currently under recall from Honda. Free way to test that part. Though if I had to guess I say starter button itself. Has the bike fallen over? Are the switch cubes stock? I'd also follow the wires from the switch cube as far as you can. Make sure they didn't get pinched the steering or between the tank and frame.
  16. Hey Warp - you should contact Jeff Dillon at my old shop - he was a CBX freak for a long time, and has been without one for awhile.
  17. I've got another batch of beaters to post up here - not sure I should now...feel bad.
