  1. I bought from dal before when I needed parts for my 94 Caprice. I e-mailed him and haven't heard back yet. That's pretty cool, seems everybody knows Dal!
  2. I need some front wheel drive parts for my 2001 Impala. If anyone knows somebody at a Chevy dealership that can get the hookup on parts, PLEASE let me know ASAP! thanks
  3. Bags might not be a bad idea. If i toughen up the suspension enough to handle the bird, it'll probably ride like crap. I like the idea of being able to vary the load capability, I must look into this...
  4. From what I read, the stock 2003 lightning suspension can handle a 1400lb payload, so I may just install those components or similar. Input anybody? Bueller?
  5. I'm thinking about buying a 2003 F-150 reg cab V-6, nothing special sort of pickup. I would like to lower it, but I also want to carry the bird around in the bed safely and without sagging in the rear. Does anybody have any experiece in this area?
  6. Yeah, I have this friend, see that's NOT on this forum that has the same head size I do and HE was wondering about it. Definitely NOT me. So, umm, how about posting some info.
  7. Yeah, what do you want for it, what size is it, and post a pic. My HJC is ready for ballistics testing
  8. I used their recommended settings and I don't have any problems at my altitude (whatever that is). I have a factory air filter and Erion slip-ons. She's a tad rich in my opinion, so maybe a K&N would be about perfect.
  9. Ask and ye shall recieve. See the rest in my gallery 8)
  10. Are they implying that they are basically the same filter?
  11. Used to run Sunoco blue fuel in a Grand National and an Eclipse GSX. Good stuff then, but it's been a few years.
  12. stack em, bolt them together, put a glass top on them and VIOLA! Single man furniture
  13. I had a few come up missing in assorted locations on the fairing. I ended up getting some from ron ayers. Ace hardware carried a bunch of metric fasteners and washers to tide you over until the right ones come in.
  14. Yeah, I could've kept the centerstand, they even have the bracket for the bumper. I wanted it off though. I like the way it cleans up the look of the underside, and i'm sure the weight reduction is worth something, however, for some things I wish I still had it on there.
  15. I'm glad you're happy with the decision. I love mine
  16. I'd stay away from forced induction or power adders myself. It'll be hard to find a reputable shop that can do it, but you need to go inside the motor. Bored, stroked, lightened valvetrain, and get a clutch from hell. From what I read, it isn't hard to find an extra 200 cc's in the Blackbird motor.

    service manuals

You can add these to the list. Maybe we can get a permanent Service manual post. http://cbr.geckobox.net/forum/viewtopic.ph...9465&highlight=

    Decks

Decks and boardwalks are all I've been doing for the last 4 months. Not as intimidating a project as some would think. http://www.lowes.com/lkn?action=pg&p=DesDe...des_splash.html Lowes.com has a mess of deck information under their project planning section, just search "deck".
  19. That's a good looking house! I wish I was in the market....and lived in Tulsa.
  20. Awesome. It seems it's always the small shops that do the best work. thanks
  21. I'm going to be getting some carb work and service done in a few weeks (re-jet, sync, etc) and I was wondering if you guys recommend someone who knows a carburetor from a carbohydrate. I'd prefer a city shop, but I'll drive to Tulsa if there's someone who knows their stuff. anyone know anyone?
  22. Harbinger, get the ones that wrap around your wrist (from academy). I had issues with an old bone break when doing preacher curls and these gloves fixed me up. They've lasted me a couple years so far, heck I still have the little zip-lock package they came in.
  23. While on my centerstand my rear tire touches the ground since the 6mm spacer mod. I dunno about this though, the bike looks a little precarious to me. Next thing you'll see is someone with a back wheel on it, lubing the chain with the bike idling in first.

    Brick Saw?

Not bad at all, I've sure seen worse. Go over it with a polishing stone and it'll look great. I laid out approx 128 steps w/ landings for a commercial job on the OU campus (Norman, Oklahoma). No way around it, poured stairs are tricky. First time I saw it done, the forms collapsed = good time had by nobody.
