we got it today....pulled valve cover to check valves, pulled the reed completely out of the PAIR system and still rattled! finally replaced my "new" cct with mikes old one and its was fine. gonna order another new one

ok so i pulled the CCT agian and opened the cover that houses the cam chain, ignition advancer etc and that all looks fine. didnt look lose or anything. started it back up and tried to listen to where the noise was and its sounds like its higher up in the engine, like near the valves or soemthing. soooooo i guess i'll be getting those checked sometime. video.....you can kinda hear the sound right after i rev the motor http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=t4z79s

ok removed the PAIR valve and pluged the tubed from the "reed covers" bike STILL has the rattle...... ideas??? someone HELP ME! PWWWEEEEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEEE :icon_wall: :icon_wall: :icon_doh:

i know Red J sells the block offs but i'm on a TIGHT budget right now. my bike is still making the crazy sound and Mike and I think its the PAIR so i wanna just block it off. ideas on ways to do it with out the plates? can i just "plug" the holes on the stock reed covers?

my vista cruise never held really well either...gonna remount it and try again but i wanna find a way to rought up both pieces so they will grip better or something

ok after finally gettin the bike running again it still has the tick...seemed to go away some after i rode for about 20-30 mins. still not sure what it is.....any more ideas???

FINALLY GOT IT YAY! pulled the plugs and they were NASTY....went got new ones and fired up on the first crank!!!! thanks for the help guys nothing more to see here....

tried some starting fluid today and still nothing. cranks till the battery is to low to crank anymore. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just looked it all over again and everything looks wired up and pluged in just fine....anymore ideas?

the other day i took the tank and air box off to look at the PAIR reeds (which are ok) but it all back on and tried to start.....nothin but back fires every few seconds. let it set a day or 2 while i was busy....tried it this morning so i can ride on my day off and same....bang...bang...bang...bang....till the battery is to low to crank it over. took the tank and airbox off agian and checked the PAIR again, everything looks fine but then again...bang...bang...bang...bang....till dead battery ideas?

trailer it up here and we can work on our bikes....i dont work till monday

that sucks...mines not starting right now either......took it a part to look at the reeds in the PAIR system and not she wont start just backfires over and over

havent had time to look at anything the last couple days. 2 guys at work took off for spring break so my hours went back up just when i was used to having none and playing all day. i'll try to look at it sunday if nothing comes up.
