I'm sorry to hear that you bought a Kaw. It has probably already depreciated. Seriously though, congrats on the "new" bike. It's a great looking bike and it sounded great the last time I heard it at OzarXX. Anyone who buys a bike and is worried about resale value should buy a HD.

That's almost exactly what happened to me the day before the first OzarXX. I screwed up an OEM (ZVS?) link and bought a ZVM link to replace it. The ZVM link locked the adjacent links up when I pressed it in.

If memory serves, the 50ZVS is the OEM DID chain. It is not the same chain as the 530ZVM. The ZVS pins are a different size and it takes a different master link than a ZVM.

I have a No-Mar tire changer. I like it, but I'm not sure it's much easier than any of the other options out there.

That's news to me. Why turn away perfectly good opportunities at XX bits just because someone is new or not interested in socializing? These guys always seem like scammers to me. I don't have an XX anymore, so they're of no interest to me. If you guys are comfortable spending money with a foreign guy with one post that no one knows, go for it.

Your first and only post is a For Sale item. That's generally considered to be inappropriate around here.

The XX I used to have ran better with an OEM filter than the K&N that came with the bike.

Did you get Iridium's or the OEM plugs?

I think I bought my last set of XX plugs from O'Riley's Auto Parts. They're local to us, they stock NGK and the Iridium plugs were reasonably priced there. I always bought air and oil filters from one of the local Honda dealers.

My OEM Yuasa lasted 8-1/2 years on my old XX. I keep my bikes on a smart charger when I'm not riding them. I'll probably stick with Yuasa for replacement batteries unless something dramatically better comes along.

Tech mounts are nice too.

Busted. The Desmosedici may be the one. The FX-50 is nice, but I like the FX-45 body style better.

It really is nice. We're buying something else or I wouldn't be selling it.

Is there a pressure relief valve in the VFR oiling system? If so, it might be stuck.

Yep. It has the shoulder and elbow armor. I also got a Vanson back protector that will go with the jacket. I understand that the armor alone costs over $100. This is as great buy on a top of the line jacket.
