Somebody got a nice ride at the right time. Now, for that garage sale.....
-
I can't speak for the slip-ons, but I have had full 2Bros and a Yosh RS3 on my 97. I liked the sound of the Yosh, but the bike liked the 2Bros better. They both had almost identical power readings on the dyno, but I would get better fuel economy with the 2Bros? It was only a couple of miles driving back and forth to work, but it was consistent. Sold the 97 for more than what I had in it and bought another 97 with a full Akra and really liked that pipe until a buddy totaled her out for me. I bought my 03 last year and she was equipped with a Ti Force. The craftsmanship is second to none. Tone is relatively low, but once you bring on the RPM's it's all business.

I would be game for this as well. Please add me to the list.

PM sent on both switches.

I would be interested in the VFR bars, depending on year and price. -
FS: LSL superbike bar mount kit
LAMZ XX replied to Hank.SD's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
I've always wanted to see one of these in person before I bought one. They look super comfy and I guess you could put just about whatever kind of 7/8 bars you would want on them. How was the vibration on the bar compared to a stock setup? -
Yeah. I know what you mean. Love mine and worth every penny. If someone picks this up, they will not be disappointed.

WTB-Hyperpro spring or Aftermarket shock
LAMZ XX replied to JB4XX's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
Yes, interested. What weight rider was it set for? I got hit with a PM as well on this, so here are the details straight off the ticket Wilbers rear shock model 640-035-00 $415.00 Wibers hyd. pre-load adjuster model 625 $170.00 Wibers ride height adjuster model 629 $ 62.00 shipping $ 20.00 Total $667.00 Riding weight 245lbs Passanger weight 125lbs Luggage weight 10lbs Riding style sport touring w/a ride height of +15mm. This is all of the info. The shock itself is all black and silver. Preload adjuster and ride height adjusters are also silver and black. I can take pics and email upon request. It is brand new in the box. I would be looking to get $550.00 out of it after shipping and Paypal or however the potential buyer would like to aquire it. I was going to just keep it as a spare or if I ever got another Bird, I would be already setup in the suspension department. Im not trying to jack your thread here JB4XX with a for sale item in your WTB thread here, but it is turning out that way. My apologies. -
WTB-Hyperpro spring or Aftermarket shock
LAMZ XX replied to JB4XX's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
I actually still have a brand new in the box Wilburs from a few years back. I ordered the shock and before it came in a "buddy" of mine totalled the Bird out for me, or so he put it. The Bird I bought earlier this year already had a Wilburs on it, so I never even touched the one I ordered. I don't remember what model or options I ordered or how much I have in it. If your interested, I will get it out of the extras box tonight and get you the details. -

Steve, just looked at the pics and that bike is sharp! Best of luck to you with the sale. Hope things work out for the best. -
Thanks. Several interested parties now so I suspect it will not last a week. If I hadn't already bought firedlt 2003 from out in Washington I would have been calling you as well. Very nice looking ride with a bunch of extras. Somebody will pick this up soon and enjoy her as much as I am enjoying mine. Hope she sells soon for you.

The lines are a very new produce for HEL and at the moment only available though me . I'm still waiting for HEL to send me though pics. So I take it you haven't got your hands on any of the fuel lines yet? Do they have them for other bikes out yet? I'm interested in getting both the brake lines and the fuel lines. But won't buy a new product without seeing some reviews/pictures. Thanks for the info and look forward to seeing more info. Make that two of us. Would definately be interested in see the fuel line pics. -
Wanter to buy Throttle Meister
LAMZ XX replied to dsanders's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
You're very welcome, Drew. As I told you in PM.. I don't make squat on them, but for board members it's not about the $. All: I've been seeing quite a few PMs on them, that's great, keep it coming. I'm not allowed to post my prices "online" because of the discount I get. I will be doing that very soon and thanks in advance! -
Sorry Located in Spokane WA I may transport depending on location or have a shop connection to ship from depending on your location I have sent you a PM as well.
-
One question for you. Your location is __________?
-
I've got a friend that lives near Warren and he tells me the same thing. Might be worth the call then.
-
can't say I'm a fan of the red covers on the clutch and brake reservoirs has chrome wheels and looks like red wave rotors of some sort Almost looks like they are the stock rotors, only painted or coated. Nice looking bike, but with it being over 5.5hrs away and the fact that I was looking at one that was less $$$ with more farkles. Hard to justify. Hindsight is always 20/20.

No....it did not sell. I just talked with the owner the other day. Some events "happened" the end of last year and I was unable to follow up with him. I contacted him as to inquire about the bike again and he informed me that over the winter his interest in the bike grew for him. I don't want to comment too much about this, because it is not my bike or my place. If he gets on, I am sure he may comment on this. Long story short here....he is keeping the bike.
