  1. Does anybody know if a magnetic bag will work on top of the tank cover or is it just too thick? Also, do youhave to loosen or remove the tank to install and remove the bagster tank cover?

I tried setting my Marsee magnetic on top of the Bagster cover and it won't hold, either the cover is to thick or magnets not strong enough to hold.

You can't use a magnetic tank bag on top of the Bagster, you need to by a specific tank bag from Bagster.

Bagster is not as fast as a magnetic tank bag to remove as you have four clips to undo.

  3. Has anyone used this Bagster tank cover. I want to keep my tank from gettign scratched from my magnetic tank bag and this likes a unique alternative. Has lcocking points to mount different size bags to the cover itself and covers the entire tank. Only one dealer here in the US and he says the cover alone is $123.

I have attached some picks, one is called clear cystal black, the other is just regular black and the last is a pick of a Suzuki Bandit with one monted and then the tank bag mounted to it.

I have the cover and expandable tank bag, heavy duty material. Fit and material is of good quality. Only thing I don't like is the map pocket, harder to get maps in and out. My Marsee worked better for that. Let me know if you want me to email you some pics.

  4. I plan on changing my chain and sprockets - how difficult is it to remove the front sprocket. do you need a impact wrench. Will a electric one work or do you need a air impact?

With having to buy a chain tool and impact wrench it may be cheaper to have a dealer do it. But may not be done better.

  5. Do you have an expected price range based on the number of participants? It would be

nice to know what dollar figure we're talking before signing up. Thanks.

    +another,

Also is this a plug and go setup or will we have to modify the wiring and headlamp socket. Do you have any install instructions or photos?

    Thank for putting this together

  6. Just got bid for in ground gunite pool 20 X 30 free form with 7 foot spa salt water system. $46,000 with no decking. I'm in So Cal, price will very.

Be careful with who does the work, there are alot of shady pool contractors out there.

  7. Just spoke with Gary at Univerity Motors, he has calls into Speigler with regards to Ruhi's and others problems. He assured me that he will do whatever it takes to make it right.

I expressed concern to Gary that there seems to be an issue with fitment pertaining to proper lengh and what was the policy of returns and he again assures me he would do whatever it takes to make it right as he wants to keep customers for the long term. I told him I will request to return my kit after the smoke clears if Spiegler can't resolve the problems.

He also asked if Dale has posted any info.

Bottom line is it looks like we are waiting for resolution from Spiegler

  8. Thanks for the pics.

The larger diameter bleeders are for the clutch, the smaller ones for the calipers. This is what I gathered based on the invoice

So does the clutch line work, can you turn the wheel all the way left and right?

Maybe they are using the same clutch line for the Blackbird and FJR ?

  9. Has anybody worked with the service department at Temecula Motorsports or Escondido Cyclecenter or others in Southern California.

I just moved here and need the Rear Brake assembly checked (Safety recall notice) and would like to be able to take my bike to a reputable competent mechanic without someone mucking up my bike.

    Thanks.

  10. I have a IAudio M3L (20Gb with 34 hours battery) with a FM remote with (smaller that IPOD) Challenger custom plugs. Great setup with more music that I ever will use, mostly used on long hauls to break up the boredom.

I use to use a Sony Mini Disc Player, they work well but can't compare to the hard drive MP3 players IMHO

  11. I've used oven cleaner to get rubber and other burnt items off my pipes. Make sure you just spray the affected area and cover the plastics with old towels or something, leave it on for a hour or so and it comes off fairly easily. I heard the CHP in So Cal use this.
