Thanks Jon, Hopefully they do and doesnt cost $30 thats insane for a simple relay with a snubber diode. I want to solve this issue and move on to the next.

I am looking for a normally open 4 pin relay 12v 30amp with a diode. Looking online for the part needed its roughly $30 from bike bandit and other sites. Its just a simple Hella relay and common on many bikes and autos Would this be something easy enough to get at napa, auto zone or advance? Their websites suck, and would like to have it to work on bike this weekend.

You are looking for a rock sling... more importantly you are looking for a Tsumura (yes its a real word) sling. might have to make your own, not very hard to do if you got some chain, a cut off wheel and some basic screw connectors

it does give you some peace seeing real time voltage. The one I used was a pretty simple install and held in place with 3M Velcro. Find it to be a little too big to cut a permanent hole on my bike, so I would suggest the use of a smaller one similar to what Phillip used in his mirror. Smooth clean install he has for his, really like that. Don't know how other meters compare, but mine does get washed out from the sun at certain angles when the sun is behind me or shining over my shoulder. But is clear 99% of the time.

I switch my Jr. between the two bikes to maintain them both. Sometimes I throw it on the lawnmower. Have had a battery fail on me at the beginning of a ride. Unplugged the Jr. bike started fine, rode to town 10 or 11 miles. Stopped at a store for 2 minutes and dead. Not enough juice to do anything. Got jumped started and rode to autozone where I did a systems check, all pointed to the battery. $100 later I was up and going with a sealed gel battery. Think that battery died 3 yrs later.

Agree with what was mentioned above, 3 months really isnt that long of a time for serious harm to occur unless something was already in motion. K.I.S.S Fresh gas in tank would be my starting point Next time riding, adj the choke and see if condition improves.

how much psi is created in the stock airbox when the system is pressurized going above 110-115mph creating the ram air effect? My PCIIIr is tuned to richen up a bit in the upper gears around 8k rpms (when you would be hauling ass) Most dyno's dont replicated the air speed being shoved into the bike at speed. Just a cute fan to keep the bike cool. Guess we could use a leaf blower aimed at the nose intake. They do what 160mph wind speeds? That could help get a better real world tune.. maybe I should take a leaf blower with me next dyno run. would get some weird looks with it strapped on my back. Make liberals think its an assault rifle.

Saw an article years ago saying that a larger (rounded) person (200lb+) would get a few more mph on the busa than say a skinny (140lb) rider because of the aerodynamics at speed. The larger person leaned over cuts out a little bit more area that the smaller person would catch more wind. Sure persons shape, tank shape, windscreen come into play. Your bike and body shape will give you various results. The weight difference will have more direct effect on the acceleration than top speed. Streamliners can weigh a shit ton and while slower starting they cut through the air much cleaner than a lighter machine with higher drag coefficient resulting in higher speeds.

Well the c90 is what 1500 or something cc's twin and believe 5speed gear box.. Big cylinders to feed, and no real power to justify a 6th gear for highway. Maybe I am wrong, but his bike is bone stock and would hate to see what it would get with some tweaking to exhaust and fuel management system or jets.. Don't know what it is.

I would do the simple math on my fingers or in my head. The GPS gives an estimate at best.. I wouldn't trust it for fuel when I have to use common sense using it to map out stuff. Unless I want to go down goat paths in a car or turn into fields for quickest routes and other crap they are known for.. As mentioned you have a gauge and odo.. Run multiple tanks as a baseline and average.. Its not rocket science..
