  1. The disc was fine until this, and he says it's still not bad. The only oddity found was the extremely full reservoirs.
  2. Children learn to not touch the stove one way. Fuck 'em. (Yes, I fully know it will be me, since I'm the one who mostly cooks.)
  3. Glancing at mine, I think you could overfill and pressurize it as you screw on the cap. His bike is a low end model, with a much cheaper brake system, and no clue if that translates. But seems like it would. I've got their spic Brembo line.
  4. Pressure switch, no mechanical switches on the rear lever (but yes on the front). I also don't know if the brake light and regen are the same switch, I think no. Being grossly overfilled should fix itself over time though, right? Or, I guess, maybe he got all the major wear up front. Ah, right, that's likely, I was thinking it was wearing more all along. Either way, both ends were filled to absolute max apparently.
  5. Ride it and check temp?
  6. He said he figured it out. I bought it. Now I'm thinking...maybe not? I'm thinking out loud. He's convinced it's fixed. I'm not sure how to know.
  7. You just need an account to knock off the super high retail. I have access to a couple. Copper State Nut & Bolt probably has options, also expensive. But who gives a fuck if 100 screws cost me $8 or $30? I use nearly no fasteners. That box only needs them for the adjustable faces. Hell, if I really wanted to be GOOD, I'd keep measuring and glue them on. No balls no glory. What's "high quality?" Just don't break. I think the Spax will be fine.
  8. I bought actual wood screws. If I knew where to get reliably high end hardware, I'd be all over it. Grainger maybe? Dunno. I got Spax #6x5/8 to finish this one.
  9. Oh, also the heads are soft as butter. I have really great drivers that lock in perfectly on all other screws, these end up with damage on every use. I was fitting and adjusting, which meant driving and removing, and had to toss them after 1-2 uses.
  10. Cocksuckers. Also, my mistake for just reaching into the bag and using them. These were sold as wood screws. Look closely. Sheet metal screws.
  11. I just got it.
  12. Yes, and still. He says that the master was overfilled when new. So was the front. This is dealer prep I think, so his dealer seems retarded. It's easy to see the condition of the inside, non-piston side pad by glancing at the bike, and he was satisfied that it was good until it started grinding. The gender thing was just fucking with you all after Mike said not to make it easy yet. But also because I had emphasized that "he" didn't fuck it up, the dealer did. I'm actually not convinced this was the problem.
  13. Not sure if you mean what I typed here, or the original post. I was not involved in that discussion, it's just something I found interesting. I guess it's a bit of both for me. If I *think* about it I go do it, but my background instinct is that the item is gone forever. Or until I go there for other reasons. There's very little reward for having my phone with me during the day, so it's low effort. I had a great time installing the upstairs RO system. If plumbing is anything for you like it is for me, 100 times up and down is obviously just a start. Oh, and I find it annoying that my mountain bike gear is mostly upstairs. I'm annoyed to climb the stairs before...going out for exercise.
  14. US bike. Zero is American made, probably more than Hardley.
  15. I've never noticed visible grease on motorcycle slide pins. Did I just miss it? My Zero is dry. The pin has a slippery feel, like some coating. Bonus points. He's told me now that since this problem was corrected, the brake regen is engaging at all times. Most e-bikes (small and large) have two regen levels. One is when you chop throttle, and most can be set from 0 to 100%. The other is when you touch the brakes, a switch engages the brake-on regen, also tunable for 0-100%. For example, my favorite tune applies around 90% throttle chop, and then goes to only 80 with the brake, so it fades. His preference is 0 throttle and 100 brake. Now when he chops the throttle, it does 100% regen, but does NOT turn on the brake light. Fun shit.
  16. This has a unique door. Grab the handle but not the small lock release inside it, and a full size door opens. Grab it with the release, and only the top 1/3 door piece opens. Really cool. It's rare to need anything other than the Breville do-everything, but sometimes it's useful, for group meals. But I can't see going bigger to use the bottom. If a non-oven just stove were available, I'd buy it and just use the Breville.
  17. It's a split oven, I had both doors open in that pic. The photo of the volcano is on the middle splitter thing. You take it out to make one oven. It's solid, so covering it changes nothing. The bottom oven is dead to me, never used it, can't imagine why I ever will.
  18. We'll have to see if me hinting at the rider's gender could be helpful, or actually could make it much much harder. Hints aren't necessarily helpful, LOL.
  19. Might as well proceed on into the "hint" phase of this game. "He" doesn't do that.
  20. I assume everyone knows about the "magic" of silicone mats. They keep this bullshit from becoming an annoying issue, just shake it off into the trash. But our last mat order came with these split silicone tubes. Now I don't need a mitt to pull a rack out to check cooking or flip something.
  21. Zero (ahem) issues on anything else on the bike. Nothing, perfect record, except this.
  22. That's critical info; rear brake. I don't know if the wheel had been removed.
  23. One sided piston.
