SwampNut Posted September 28, 2021 Share Posted September 28, 2021 I was using a Purple Carrot WFPB meal kit, and it told me to cut the zucchini into straws. I used my small veggie cutter, could have also used my big french fry cutter. This allowed me to get really caramelized surfaces and a much better texture. I used to half-round them, but this was far faster, and gave better results. Now I'll be doing it with a lot of things. Yesterday I did various squashes and some mushrooms for a "pasta" dish, and it was great. And easy.
