  1. Ti-Force, titanium full exhaust, ti oval polished canister. As it says, "New in the box". Part# 18100282, CBR1100XX '97-'05, Product# 10021. I no longer own the bike this was purchased for. These are apparently now "Unobtanium" in North America. Complete with new in the box Dynojet Power Commander III USB. Part# 102-411, '99-'01 Honda CBR1100XX. $1200.00 US plus the shipping to your location. Mr. Mike.
  2. One pair of Chatterbox XBi1 intercoms with full face helmet mic and speaker kits. These are the rider to passenger units (as well as phone and music which I never use). They have performed flawlessly for about 2 years, including 2 week trip around New Zealand's South Island (through all sorts of weather). The chargers are dual voltage. The reason for sale is that now my wife is no longer a passenger and has a bike of her own so bike to bike intercoms were in order. These were replaced with Chatterbox XBi2 bike to bike capable units. Everyone has an opinion on the merits and brands of intercoms, so please post comments in the appropriate thread if you are not interested in purchasing these. $100 + postage / shipping Cheers, Mr. Mike.
  3. I would be interested in the engine depending on price and where you are located in Canada. I am in S.W. Ontario. Mr. Mike.

    F1 Issues

Sounds like the test plug in the wire harness problem. This is well documented on various Blackbird sites, just do a search. Mr. Mike.
  5. I got mine about a year ago and was told then that TiForce wouldn't make them anymore. It is still sitting in the unopened box. Mr. Mike.
  6. Page 1-6 in the service manual says 50psi and my stock '02 FPR measures 50psi. My service manual is for the 99-2000 and has the 43 psi pressure as listed about. The "apparently" for the later years came from trying to find other posts that had this info. So now that we have a service manual reference for the later years, the new percentage (at idle) is 19% lower for the TC version used on later (2001-) Birds. I had another exchange with them today about their testing a 50 psi version of the FPR, that makes more sense now! They will have results in two weeks. Do you want my 2003 stock one? I'll send it to you. It was working fine when I took it out 3 weeks ago. Hell, if it was not raining I could drop it off tonight. Generous offer, thanks! I have a new one (stock along with plugs and air filter) coming tomorrow or Thurs. I am in NYC both days so I guess Friday is my first riding opportunity. Yes, this rain would be a bummer if I had a running BB cbracerx, any word from Turbo City on the 50# regulator for the '99 -'00 XX? Mr. Mike.
  7. Bumpity bump. My new drag bike is here, the shop is too full. Mr. Mike.
  8. New Price, $5800.00C. Mr. Mike.
  9. The following panels were removed from a very low mileage '99 Canadian spec. CBR1100XX in Candy Pheonix Blue. Left Lower Cowl: excellent condition other than scratch at bottom. Foam insulation pad not included. $200. Right Lower Cowl: excellent condition other than 2 scratches at bottom. Foam insulation pad not included. $200. Upper Cowl: corner broken at left mirror junction, pieces included. Easily repaired to replace a smashed cowl. $200. I would prefer these body panels were picked up if possible, I don't want to get into shipping hassles or disappointed buyers. Viewed in person with the "Mark One Eyeball" will save a lot of potential grief. They are located in S.W. Ontario, near the Michigan border. PM me for further information.
  10. I am not defending Heli-bar, but the instructions included with the new set I purchased for my Blackbird specifically stated DO NOT tie the bike down by the bars. That being said I have done it on occasion for a short distance with no ill effect but normally I tie down at the lower triple clamp. Mr. Mike.
  11. Black, Blue and Red were available in Canada from '98 for sure possibly '97. Mr. Mike.
  12. 1999 CBR1100XX Blackbird. Complete with factory (Honda) panniers (hard bags). Colour is Candy Glory Red. No mods, with the exception of a Scott automatic chain oiler and Vista Cruise throttle lock. Maintenance is up to date. No crash damage, paint is decent but not perfect. 58000 kilometers. I have too many bikes in the fleet. $5800.00C. Located in South Western Ontario. TRADE FOR A HONDA CB600F / 599 HORNET CONSIDERED. Before anyone asks, my wife wants to get her license and I have two Blackbirds. Mr. Mike.
  13. Epoxy, definitely the way to go. But don't use the big box store brands, get the good stuff from an industrial paint supplier. Thompson's water seal, bad. If you want to paint it at a later date, and you will, the floor has now been ruined to accepting a paint coating. Do not try to paint fresh concrete floor. Let it cure approx. 6 months. Do clean the floor with good detergent then muriatic acid solution. Lots of rinsing and drying before application of epoxy. Wear a respirator when painting epoxy, if you don't have to, it's not the good paint. I have painted every shop floor I have owned with this system and have no regrets. Mr. Mike.
  14. I have a a pair of WMP Carbon Fibre slipons forsale. They were on my bike when I purchased it (they had been installed for a short time). I had to reinstall the original pipes to be able to use my factory hard bags (paniers), so the WMP's are forsale. $300.00 Can. + shipping. PM me if interested. Mr. Hemi.
  15. Does anyone have any experience with removal / plugging of the air injection into exhaust system of the Blackbird. Emissions are not a concern in my case, just looking for advce and experiences with this potential mod. Mr. Hemi.
  16. Has anyone installed the APE manual adjuster and been done with the rubber band? Long term experience? I am about to replace mine and would like some insight from the members. My competition background says go with the APE and make regular adjustment a maintenance item. Mr. Hemi.
