traxxion makes them call and talk with them they will set you up with what you need I have 1.1's from them and love them. XX here has the 1.05's I think they send you one 1.1 and one 1.0 ? good luck and its a big improvement

New chain and the pc2 back in and all the surging is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!! at least I know how to tell when my chain is shot now hehehe thanks again

chaparral motorsports installs chains for 35-40 bucks. I called one time it was 35 this time it was 40 heheh. They offer drive in service on first come first serve during the week and on Sat all they do is simple maint so if you get there later in the day you may only have a short wait. I have not used them but plan on being there Sat for the chain swap. They also have a 114link did zvm530 at $133. I HOPE this fixes my surge problems

nope I have not had the time to get a new chain and I am fairly sure now that the pc2 is off it is the chain. I tried to tighten it and then less than 100 miles its back to out of spec

The center of my avon front still looks new and both sides are well worn. The rear I went through the center was gone and the edges still had quite a bit of life so I think the side walls of the avon front are pretty soft. It has about 10K on it. I had the rear replaced last year with there warrentee with NO QUESTIONS asked

I do not have a chain cutting tool or the install tool for a chain. A local parts place will rivit the chain for me but does not do installs so If I pull the front sprocket can I then install the chain after its been rivited or does it have to be rivited while on the bike ? I have never done a chain replacement so I may end up just taking it to a shop insted of spending the 120+ for the tool. When its something I will only need to do ever 2-3 years. thanks

Well took the PC II off and it may have gotten a little better but I think its just wish full thinking. I guess its time to buy a chain.

it could be I think its still the original battery from 2000. and when at idle if I rev it a little the light will get way brighter but if at over 1K ior so and I give it gass it does not. More things to look at now if I just had time. I ride it as much as possible, It had sat about 4-6 months while I was moving but now gets ridden at least 3 times a week for a 30 minute freeway trip to work and then back. I try to keep it under 100 but ususaly cruise at about 90. Thanks keep them coming.

Will do the chain has about 16K I thought they went like 20-25K miles. But I do have a heavy right hand when it comes to taking off

Well the first problem with my bike it has started to surge when at about 4.5K and up in rpms. While accelerating. It does not go Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa it goes WaaWaaWAAAWaaaaWaaa You can hear it and feel it. Could it be the power comander ? I have had it on the bike for over 8K with no problems till now. I have never ran a FI cleaner should I try that ? will clogged injectors make it surge ? I am going to try removing the PCII and see if that helps or at least make sure its not loose. Any other Ideas ? While I am at it when you change sprockets Whats the best way to tell when its time to replace a chain ? I am in the replace area of the swing arm but it went into that when I lost a tooth up front. thanks

could also be a loose or warn/gunked up chain

I have the oval 2 bros carbon cans and they fit good. Just a bit of extra clearance on the sides and about 3/4 of an inch from the top of the can to the bottom of the beetle bag. Just from memory they bags are not on the bike right now or I would shoot a pic of them

I went with 1.1 from traxxion I weigh in at 230 and LOVE them. Easy install even with minimal tools and skills.
