  1. I got them from someone here probably close to 20yrs ago, cant remember who it was. Had to be a complete set that must have also worked on the X11 as 1 piece is completely hidden on the XX and another is mostly covered by the fairings. I always hated that gold color honda used on engine cases.
  2. Doing some routine maintenance and while allowing the radiator to burp out all the air pockets I would give the throttle a couple light twists when I heard a rattle. I dont hear it unless I rev up a little and let the throttle snap back closed. This replaced the original 20k miles ago with one from our late friend John Smith. It is a non manual one, anyone know what make these were or a source for new ones?
  3. awesome news, congrats on your new life.
  4. Use to have a full D&D on a 750 back in the day, obnoxious loud. People made me ride in the back because of it. Have dual GPR's on the RC51, make a D&D seem mild. Currently she is running dual Two Bros which are an improvement after adding in a set of baffles and is still a tad over my liking. Love the sound of the twin, but honestly don't see how harley riders tolerate those straight pipes.
  5. https://www.amazon.com/CURT-45900-Adjustable-Trailer-Receiver/dp/B004SMGAJ6?th=1 run this one on my company truck, has 12" of adjustment which is helpful with the different trailers that we have around the company. They also sell single ball mount tongue (I swear they make this topic sexual) that will give you several more inches (who couldn't use that?) of adjustment. There is even a 10" drop setup that will give you 20" total. Not cheap and at 42lbs Mine is pretty stout, right at 32lbs.
  6. Yeah, I got it way cheaper for rigging equipment then saw a video of a guy talking about it. They used it in the airforce by the case. He used it on his AR's in the video to show how much smoother his triggers were and would make you loose a pound or so on them with just the dry film spray applied. I sprayed it in one of my buffer tubes and it slicks up the inside and calms down the chatter,
  7. I have tried the tacky grease and anti seize in the past, knowing full well it is there and not to touch it. Always failed and got that shit on my leg or hands. The spray I use doesn't last that long but, isn't really messy either after dries. Better than nothing I guess. I did see a video where another lube was used on a ball mount but we would have to move to the pub to discuss that.
  8. what type of lube do you use on your balls? I use a spray on graphite molykote, same stuff I use on rigging shackles and such at work. https://www.amazon.com/MOLYKOTE-D-321-Film-Lubricant-AEROSOL/dp/B07PT26JHL last can I bought was $48 each... cheap in comparison of the cost of rigging equipment goes. Also does amazing work on AR's for lowering the trigger weight and the chatter from the buffer spring.
  9. looking good, Earlier today I heard the alarm go off from my wifes phone, then a second later mine fired off. 252 mg/dl I naturally went to check on her, she had coffee and a bagel for breakfast and was sipping on unsweet tea when the alarm fired off at 9:45am a few hours after breakfast. Within an hour it was back down below 100 mg/dl and stayed in the 85 - 95 range throughout the day. Today is also her day for taking her injection, between the spike and rapid drop along with the injection would explain why her head hurts so bad.
  10. Ruined with fermented cabbage. 😄 Love Reubens hate Sauerkraut and will ask for it to not be on the sandwich, the looks I have been given.
  11. What about flax seeds and chia seeds? We use flax seeds at home and even give a small amount to the dogs food bowls. Sounded weird but they also get a powdered cocktail of mushrooms to aid in gut health. Very little goes a long way,
  12. I have had a few good hotdogs, mostly from small local markets or shops and always with natural casings. As for ketchup, the older I get the less I enjoy it on anything. To salty and sweet, just about get nauseous from the smell or watching other people us it. Mustard is acceptable, if the dog is good right off the grill with some charing it doesnt need anything. Can't remember the last hotdog I have had. Probably a summer or two ago at a cookout.
  13. Some good stabilization being shown on the charts. Peaks and drops are minimal and quickly returning back to a normal level. I drank more in Texas a few weeks ago than I have in several years. My doctor told me that drinking offers no benefit and because of my intact being so little not to concern myself with having a beer or two on occasion. It is those who can't help themselves and must down a 12 pack a night or take of the cap and finish the bottle of vodka that destroy their livers. The meds just accelerate that destruction and lead to a quicker death.
  14. Sound terrible to not crave hot sauce and how in the hell can you not crave taco's? These meds are saving your life and ruining it at the same time. Feels weird to me when out of town to actually go and grab lunch, if I am really hungry there is always a granola bar or protein shake I could get to in my truck. How are you checking your blood sugar? Finger poke to a meter or a wearable meter? Both are ok, but the wearable one could be easily used for tracking and collecting data of foods and how they affect you. Forgot to mention the costs to my injections for RA, out of pocket cost per injection for a 100mg/0.1ml dose every 2 months.. $13,400 but for the low price of $5 through my insurance delivered to me in a icepack filled box like clockwork. If I have a misfire from the auto injection (happened 1 time in last 4yrs or so) my doctor grabs one from the fridge and all good. Now, are the costs just inflated to that level knowing that insurance is footing the bill? I go in a few weeks to do my annual 3 month blood work to make sure the meds are not destroying my liver.
  15. She is doing 2.5mg once per week, I should be more clear on the suppression of the food cravings. She will not want just any old crap, you want good fresh foods. The thoughts of anything greasy just turns her stomach. Would rather not eat and wait to get something of higher quality, that "food noise" makes perfects sense in the grand scheme of things. Often people eat just because its part of their routine than not and get something quick and fast filled with 2000 calories. We went to lunch today and she had some grilled fish, steamed broccoli and a baked potato. She doesn't really do a routine of fasting but I highly doubt she will eat anything for dinner and fast till tomorrow morning. Stopped by the grocery store and she was excited to find some fresh Bolillo rolls to make a healthy sandwich for lunches this week. Those few carbs consumed are nothing compared to going someplace for lunch. She closely monitors her blood sugar, this med doesn't have the side effects of making her nauseous as others in the past. Her A1C levels have also been looking the best in over a decade with this med, believe her last checkup they were 5.6 or 5.5. Also got her wearing a Amazfit smart watch to let her see her sleeping patterns, steps per day and so forth. She easily hits 10k steps a day at work just walking back and forth, the other day she was over 14k. Was wondering if she walked to work or drove.
  16. This drug has been wonderful for my wife. It is difficult for people to find sometimes as its being prescribed wide open by doctors for weight loss use. My wife must maintain her weight 125 to 130lbs to avoid issues with this med and that is difficult when this will suppress your wants for food. Her Libre sensor helps monitor her blood sugar and being linked to several people and the alarms set helps keep things consistent. There was a time I would have found her with cuts, bruises or still in the floor multiple times a month from rapid sugar level spikes or drops.
  17. coworker just bought a brand new crew cab 5ft bed Tacoma for $28k this past week. deals are out there to be had,
  18. well there goes two new truck payments or part of a down payment at least
  19. 2016 F150 3.5 ecoboost 182k miles few hiccups here or there mostly easy fixes, 100gal fuel tank, tool boxes and other random shit in the bed since new. Suppose to weigh just over 5000lbs, she is typically at 7,200lbs on the scales at work, 12,000lbs with my dedicated trailer. Work for a mining company so think of all the dirt, gravel, mud you can throw at a vehicle and it doesn't matter. 3.5L eco produces more torque than even the 6.4L in the Ram 3500. Trick is to have the turbo's spooling, that is their only downside, little lacking on take off pulling a trailer but once boost is building extra weight is an afterthought. Truck has plowed over deer, been struck by lightning, rear ended twice and seen more dirt than a ground hog. I have it serviced when needed, put gas in and drive it. It is due for replacement, will be passed down to someone else in the quarries to drive. I personally didn't care for the truck when new, but it is one tough truck.
  20. That is good to know, find it to be a decent horseradish. Will also make my own spicy mustard, dijon with horseradish mixed together, probably the same as the sweet hot mustard they make. Never tried horseradish to smoke anything. Will use yellow mustard as a binder first for a rub first. Hmmm, might test this on some ribs this spring.
  21. Inglehoffer is easy to find locally, offer up a grated and creamy style. Kelly's Pride is another that isn't bad as well. Never seen the Beaver brand, will have to check my local Publix as Kroger doesn't carry it here. Friend dad grows the root and sells it at their local farmers market. Got some last year, sadly I forgot about it..
  22. Love horseradish, everyone else in the house doesn't. Has just enough bite to not be boring and pairs well with so much.
  23. That is all they need, I will give them give them a spritz of olive oil or a quick toss with Italian dressing. Gives a little zing from the vinegar and spices.
  24. I prefer fingerling potatoes, small flavorful little spuds.
