pai
changed the rear to bt020 but kept the front(sportec m1). i know both have rather different compounds. am i going to expect poor handling or poor grip? or does it matter?
Pete in PA
I've never had a problem doing that, others don't like to, personal decision.

Pete in PA
I've run 205 rear with factory 57 front. BT 54 front with 020 rear. 020 front with 205 rear. Never any handleing problems. Looking at my records now, most of my riding has been on mismatched tires. I just can't see changeing both tires just because one is worn out. Only lately have I stuck with matched Avons soon to be matched Metzelers.
BIG BOY
I run different combos and have had no problems. Just run the stickier tire up front.
