nickc2s Posted April 20, 2004 Share Posted April 20, 2004 If the '00 is the same as the '03, then the plug-in is on the left side under the gas tank just above the gearbox in a bell-shaped rubber cover that houses electrical connectors and is suspended on the wiring harness zip-tied to the left frame. Remove the two rear tank bolts and shim the rear of the tank up three inches or so. You can then see/access from either side with a light. Download the speedohealer user's manual to calibrate it. They are pretty similar in design. -Pace p.s Make sure you locate the correct 3-wire connector. There are at least three inside that rubber harness.
