NoOne65
How would you go about testing the TPS on the XX?
Zero Knievel
I'd suggest reading the manual, but I'd presume a practical check would be just to see if it revs smoothly up and down. Otherwise, I'd suspect (without having the manual on me at the moment) that you use a multimeter to read signal strength to see if it's in spec. I think I have a PDF on my iPad. I'll see if I can find something. Section 5-90 & 5-91. It calls for special tools to do the test, but I suspect you could do the test with a multimeter and a couple of conductive pins inserted into the harness plug. You just have to figure out the correct wires. TP Sensor.pdf Edited April 5, 2016 by Aunt Sylvia
