Flying Scott
Okay I searched for this and came up with reference to "leather cream" What are folks using to keep that leather form looking dried out and at the same time preventing it developing the friction coefficient of ice on glass..... I see the manufacturer sell some but what can I nip out and buy locally....? Cheers TC
Northman
Leather conditioner (available at most automotive retailers), and saddle soap available at the local tack shop.
Redbird
Neatsfoot oil, available at most shoe repair or leather shops. Wipe it on, allow it to soak in overnight, wipe off any excess. Doesn't leave the leather at all greasy or oily as the name might imply. It will darken (as in stain) lighter, unfinished leather.
jrdxx
Neatsfoot oil. I also use it to wipe down my leathers.
