bbxx Posted March 9, 2004 Share Posted March 9, 2004 hi all im new here and new to blackbirds i have a problem my bike is a 98 model just purchased it and when warm im getting an annoying light rattling noise when reving or slowing down ive checked for loose stuff on the bike and its coming from top end of engine anyone with any ideas as to what it could be b4 takin it to a dealer and gettin ripped off would be most appreciated oh the bike runs great even when rettling cheers bbxx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CBRXX Posted March 9, 2004 Share Posted March 9, 2004 It is probably the CCT (cam chain tensioner) which is a very common problem, and easy job If you can remove the right lower body panel, you should be able to change the CCT.
