Tailgator Posted March 8, 2004 Share Posted March 8, 2004 Does anybody else get a 'surging' feeling from the motor at just on or below 3,000 revs? I find it difficult to hold the bike at these revs (the gear doesn't seem to make a difference) while riding because the bike seems to surge. By surge, I mean that it feels like it is pulling forward and then dropping back in very quick succession - like bunny hopping but nowhere near as extreme. It is right at the speed limit (60kph - about 40/45mph?) and other gears are either too high or low for riding in heavy traffic. After speaking to some other riders of 2003 XX's in Oz they had the same problem but fixed it with either using a PC or by blueprinting and replacing the exhausts.
