New Radiator Hoses?

Chewtoy

Recommended Posts

After cracking 30k miles, and owing a 97 Bird with a past of abuse, I thought it would be good preventative maintenance to replace the rad hoses. Was thinking of grabbing a set of SAMCO hoses off ebay, but if anyone has a better source, please let me know.

Thanks.

never had to do so myself (current bird's a 2000, also has had a rough life) but, if the price is ballpark, i'd stay with oem.

30k hell your just breaking in..... I am turning 67k on my 97 and still have the original hoses. Just inspect them and see if they feel soft at any point.

I would make sure to either use OEM or a good quality hose.

Some of that aftermarket stuff can be junk.
