BMWRT97 Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Folks, Like everyone else here we have great faith in Honda. However, at 16K I am still going to check my valve clearances. A fellow employee used to work for a Honda dealership and has quite a selection of shims if any are needed. There are 3 different diameter shims on the market for different applications. My understanding for the Blackbird is that they use a 7.5mm diameter shim. Could someone please verify that is correct? Searches on the Garage forum did mention this diameter. Thanks for your help.
