durhamspeed
So in preparation for new bodywork, I took of the broken plastic, however underneath the fairing on the main part of the frame this is what I see: I cant find this part anywhere, my 00 XX does not have this screw in bolt connection on the frame, and on the right side the bolt broke off in the nut. Does anyone have any ideas what part this is? I think I can remove from frame, and drill out the broken bolt, but I would prefer to replace. HANKSXXX
That was on the 03 frames in the US... I repaired an 03 with the same bolt on pieces. Hank
JB4XX
Fairing mount. Early XX had mounts welded to the frame, you lowside or drop bike and you had frame damage. Honda made the fairing mount replaceable on later model XX
