Budman
Hey all, do you know if you HAVE to remove the center stand if you are to put on the Vance and Hines SS2R ???
MaXX
V&H provides a bracket that stops the stand from hitting the pipes. It is just a simple "L" bracket you bolt on through the right side (if you are sitting on the bike) centerstand bolt. Easy solution to the removal of the bumper. demon
You could just leave it off and save some more weight. 2 bolts and 2 minutes and it is back on to work on the bike. That's how I do it

The XXorcist
Maybe cause he rides a Honda he is sure he will only need to do any wrench turning at home. Look at it this way, if you take it off then it will only knock you down 1 notch to be in the same situation as probably 90% of the other bikes on the road. Not every bike, has the nice option of having a center stand. Another reason I love my bird, they try to make things so easy for the rider
