GimPin
I have a 98 BB, paper filter, and erion racing slip ons it feels rough and flat at part throttle and it feels flat at full throttle ... almost if its bogging ... if I let off to about 3/4 throttle I get more power. Is this a carb issue? I dont think that it has been jetted but am not 100% sure
blackhawkxx
Did it run right before or did you just buy it?

EVLXX
So it runs better when you take a little fuel away..... that would tell me some dumb jackass just assumed that since he put the exhaust on it that he needed to put much larger main jets in it, and now you are flooding out above 3/4 throttle. I've seen it more times than I can can recall, and this is why I don't let other people work on my bike. My suggestion, pull the mains, check the size, then check the pilots, check size... report back here... and tell me what elevation range you are running at.(edited: I see you live in Florida.... you don't have elevation, so never-mind that)

I know absolutly nothing about carbs but am fairly mechanical otherwise
