turbo50jeff
Well, here it is, finally selling my baby a 2000 CBR1100xx with 23,405 miles on it. I am 43 years old and have been riding for 14 years I do not beat on my bikes. I have owned it since 2003 and bought it from the second owner in Florida with only 2200 miles on it. I have added a few things to it over the years. Items added or changed 1. Mototek under tail with LED taillights and blinkers. 2. Clear alternative turn signal lenses. 3. HyperPro progressive springs front and rear. 4. K&N air filter 5. Throttle lock/cruise control 6. Pro-grip gel grips 7. Michelin HPX tires 8. New YUSA battery 9. Double green dot cam chain tensioner 10. Spark plugs at 10K 11. New gold chain 200 miles ago 12. Wire loom permanent fix with solder and shrink wrap tape 13. 3 out of four matching frame plugs. The 4th one wouldn't fit. It has always been stored in a heated garage during winter months and at night. Been running Amsoil oil since day one. It just had a fresh oil/filter change. There are just a few scratches on the bike. One on the upper right fairing, a few on the tank and a couple on the front fender. Other than that there are no other issues. It starts and runs great. The tires have about 1/2 tread left. I am reluctant to sell it but I am selling it and a 2007 cbr600rr for a zx-14 or a cbr1000rr. The bike looks awesome in person and you won't be disappointed with the condition. $4600 or best offer. Able to deliver within 150 miles for $1/mile. Call for a time to come by and take a look at it. 860-559-6400

bar10dah
Man, I've been itching to get back on an XX. You just made me want it more!
turbo50jeff
Why am I having a hard time parting with my XX? My cbr600rr which I bought new is on here for sale and I could care less it's for sale even though I like it a lot ? I found a leftover 2010 special edition black/titanium zx-14 for 9750. Good deal? What does anyone think?

Beautiful bike though. Best paint scheme I've seen on the Gen 1. I think 9750 is a damn good deal.. That would have made my choice VERY hard!! Pat830
Get the new version of the 14 if you are going to get one, why get an old model right from the get go? Nice XX you have there!!!
Hank.SD
Yeah for 11K I'd have to go for 2012.. I ended up getting my 2012 for 13480 OTD from a different dealer a bit closer to home.

Dealers around here aren't discounting the 2012's at all! That 's insane. I can't justify $4000 more. In a few years when there's leftovers maybe I'll consider it
Hank.SD
I noticed the prices are going up. They must be selling pretty well. About 3 weeks ago there were 2012's on ebay for low 13K OTD, now they are all at retail.

turbo50jeff
Get the new version of the 14 if you are going to get one, why get an old model right from the get go? Nice XX you have there!!! New version almost 4K more! Kawasaki is the highest depreciating of all the japanese big 4. There will be leftovers in 2 3 years for 10K
The Krypt Keeper
was that XX drag raced? hole in the kill switch indicates a cheap "deadman" switch was put on it. Not saying you were, maybe previous owners tried it out.

Not saying you were, maybe previous owners tried it out. Absolutely it was drag raced! 5 passes down the strip. It ran a 10.5 @136mph. Any blackbird owner who doesn't push his machine every once and a while isn't worth his mettle

turbo50jeff
it was a lieutenant in the state police of New York somewhere. He had a Vrod and wanted something more comfortable. He bought it sight unseen and I delivered it to him. He was very happy. I was sad to see it go :{ But now I've got a good down payment on a 2010 leftover zx14 titanium special edition!
