John01XX Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 I am about to install Big Daves Tank back on his 99Bird and need a quick question answered first The small (1/8in) vacuum hose that comes off the tank itself and not the fuel lines that all come off the bottom the fuel filtr cover. That small hose drops down and goes to a "T" and then I assume just runs out both sides for venting or drainage ? Why the split ("T") ? BobZ Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 Hmmm, I saw that as well when I was cleaning my K&N...wondered the same but I think it is a just a vent tube - I wondered if I disconnected from something by accident. Some years appear to split the vent hose with a plastic "T" and vent it out both sides of the Bike. I wondered as you did about accidentally un-hooking something.
