rhubarbray
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with AFAM sprockets? I`d like to try the 18t but I stumbled onto an FZ6 site where there`s quite a few people complaining that they`re noisy. Anyone have a recommended manufacturer? Actually, who makes an 18t for the `bird? AFAM, Driven, JT, Sprocket Specialists,............?

If you can hear the front sprocket, you aren't "ridin" her hard enuf!
JuXXtin
Same here, used AFAM, works fine... lube chain as every other gas stop etc...
jon haney
Any after-market front sprocket (which doesn't have the noise-dampening plastic like the OEM sprockets) is going to be more noisy. If the extra noise is a problem, subtract 3 teeth from the rear sprocket and stick with the OEM front 17T. Avoid JT sprockets. They are not near the quality or toughness of the OEM, Vortex, or Sunstar.

Think ya mean subtract 3 teeth from the rear??? I think Sunstar produces most of the OEM sprockets. Hank
