alf03
I am trying to get every thing together to paint my bike, but two days of trying to find tank and body panel decals I am having no luck. Every one I have called tells me they don't have them in stock they would have to backorder them. Was wanting to know if anyone had ordered these recently and who they had found them with. Have used these guys for an FJ1200. Cheap too. Xtreeme Decals
RichardCranium
I've ordered them from Ron Ayers before. Trying to think if I still have the OEM tank decals somewhere. Honestly if you are painting why go back to exactly like every other Blackbird? I left all the decals off when I repainted. I wound up putting on some different ones later but at least I have the option of changing them.
JasonW
Unfortunately, you're not going to find any aftermarket decals that match the quality and EXACT look of the factory decals. The materials and process they use isn't cost effective for your average decal shop. It looks like Xtreeme doesn't even have the sizes correct, as the side logos should measure just slightly over 11.25" long (11.284" to be exact) by almost 6" tall (5.962" to be exact). The tank decals should measure 4.878" wide by 3.875" tall. That being said, if you're extremely picky about the decals being EXACTLY like factory, you'll have to order them from Honda. 79cbxmike
Got a set direct from Honda earlier this year for a 2002, just ordered them by stock number from a local dealer, took about a week.
X1rider
Talk to Al @ www.forestcityhonda.ca or use this address: parts@forestcityhonda.ca I stopped by there while on my trip to Canada and ordered the Super Blackbird OEM decals from him. Took about ten days to receive them. I also got a heavy duty side stand foot pad for free!
partsman
Decals are one of those parts that there is just so many of it would be impoossible to keep them in stock.I've had CBR600RR decals in my parts dept year after year. In Canada the big "xx" says "super blackbird" through it,this is why XIrider got them from me.It will probably take 2 weeks to get them but there is a faster way if all goes well.We have super parts power in the frozen north!I can get just about any b/o in 3 days,so far this year its gone about 10 for 10.I'm not guaranteeing anything but so far so good.It wil take another week to ship to you by express mail or more $ for express courier.
