79cbxmike
Need a pair of riding boots. Must have thick soles, reaching the ground at 5’ 5” is difficult on the CBX, tougher on the Bird and a real bitch on the 1000RR. Easy lace up or clasps Comfortable for all day rides Waterproof Cover the ankles Any suggestions? Mike Pavlick

LAMZ XX
I've got the the Icon Field Armor boots and they were a little bit rough at the start, but now that they are broken in, they are super comfy. I used to change shoes once the ride was done, but now I leave them on all day. I have been in more than a few storms and they have yet to get my feet wet. I don't know if these are waterproof or not, but they fit the bill for everything else that you are asking for and they have kept my feet dry in the field, so the choice would be up to you. Furious
I've been wearing the same Icon Motorhead boots for 5 years. Not waterproof, but I've never had a soaker while wearing them in a downpour. Icon doesn't make them anymore, but you can probably find them online for cheap. Motorcycle Superstore.com has them for $60 if you wear a 9 or 10.
