redxxrdr
The Harbor Freight coupon thread in the Pub got me thinking about bike stands again. Which is easier to work on a bike with? The one with the wide platform? or the narrow one that lets you get right up to the bike? I am a tight budget kind of guy, so I don't mind the manual lift. BDAZ XX
Wide platform is nice. I used one for a few years. You can place tools and parts within easy reach of the job your doing. You can easily sit on the bike if needed. Rear wheel plate is removable if needed. Just make sure you strap the bike down good.

BDAZ XX
She was such a cool bike. At least she wasn't crashed when she died. I could use a bike like that now for touring.
Fast Eddy
I don't have one yet, but a friend has the wide one and we us it a lot. We sometimes wish it was a little wider. Go wide.
