LogoMan
The wires on one connector has stripes, the others are solid. Which is high beam and which is low? Thanks!
Iceman_40
No idea, but it is REALLY easy to check with a bulb or Multi meter..
Zero Knievel
If I had the wiring schematic here, I'd look it up for you.

Zero Knievel
Those images aren't big enough, but I can talk you through it. You have two wires to each bulb. One is ground, so it will be identical for BOTH sockets. However, the OTHER wire will be different for each socket. See if the schematic designates one socket as high beam and the other as low beam. Note the color of those different wires and that will tell you which is which. Just make sure it is so by flipping the high/low switch before you put it all together if you have any doubts. TuffguyF4i
Stick a voltmeter across the terminals while on low beam. You got volts, you got low beam.
Zero Knievel
+1 The images are bigger, but the text is still blurred. Zoom in on the headlight parts to 200% and do a screen capture.
LogoMan
Thanks guys. I knew I could count on you to help out my lazy ass. I got out my shop manual and looked at the schematic. I'm going to assume the top headlight in the schematic is the top headlight on the bike. Should be easy peasy now. I could always plug one in with the switch on low beam to quickly see what is what, but I knew you guys had the secret.
Zero Knievel
Yep. Blue/Black or Blue/White. One is high, one is low. I suspect that Blue/White is low beam since the schematic shows it going straight to the starter switch, and we know the headlight comes on automatically when the engine starts. The Blue/Black goes to a headlight relay which seems to activate only when you toggle the H/L switch.
BlueBlackBird
Just saw this thread, I have taken off the front cowl, because I crashed recently so I marked everything, and here goes for future reference for 2000 Bird Cdn>-Bottom connector is Blue/Black and green wire, top connector is Blue/White and green wire. Skull
I had mine on wrong (hi->lo and lo->hi) and just reached underneath and switched them without moving anything.
