PlasticxxHead
Am I loosing my mind or are the HID prices crazy low? $70-$150 Anyone have a brand they would recommend, the ones on my 97 were 6000k but I can't remember the name, I got them from the old group buy here.. I have a euro switch for the high beam modulator should I just mount another standard H7 in the headlamp housing and run it to the trigger? Or run it to the fogs? or perhaps some crazy under tail LEDS and dance my way down the highway? I don't want to be flashing HIDs Any suggestions...?? clearly this whole (I haven't even taken delivery on the bike thing is burning a hole in my pocket)

OrganDonor
Most of the cheaper ones have the ignitor and ballast considated in one "box." The ones we got from HIDSELLER for around $180 had the separate units.
jblackbird2000
I like the idea of hooking up the flash to pass to the fog lamps, because you're correct, you definately don't want to hook it up to a HID, just won't be effective. If you want to continually run your fog lamps, then this would be pretty easy. The switch would just inturrupt the circuit. However, if you want to put your fog lamps on their own switch, then this becomes a bit more difficult. You'll then need to build a relay circuit to either turn them off via the euro switch when the main switch is on, OR turn them on with the euro switch when the main switch is off. The results of course would be flashing fog lamps, but simply in reverse order depending on the position of the main fog lamp switch. Confused yet? I am.
