bmcdonau
How do you bleed the rear piston which is activated by the front lever? I tried both rear bleeders and couldn't get fluid to come out either with the front lever.

bmcdonau
Brake bleeding This could help you. that does. I was missing the part where you lift the front caliper. Thanks
Banshee
The main thing to remember is that the front reservoir only feeds the front outer pistons. All the centre pistons and the rear outers are fed from the rear reservoir.

All the centre pistons and the rear outers are fed from the rear reservoir. I think I got that part. I was able to bleed both bleeders on the front calipers, one from the front brake lever and the other from the rear breake pedal. I was also able to bleed the front bleeder on the rear caliper with the foot pedal. What I couldn't do was bleed the rear bleeder on the rear caliper, and I see that I need to lift the front left caliper to do that.
