And now that I have half my mike dismantled I notice all the chrome on my banjo bold connections have flaked off. Any one else have this issue? willxx23 Posted May 14, 2008 Share Posted May 14, 2008 Aren't the Spiegler fittings made from aluminum or some other metal other than stainless steel? That could be the culprit... From their site: Aluminum banjo bolts available in Silver, Gold, Chrome, Black, Blue, Red, Purple, Green, Titanium. $5.90 ea So the bolt is plated aluminum??
