KA
Last week the bike was starting but running rough. The bike sat for a week waiting for a new tire. With a new tire mounted, started the bike today and it sounded like it was missing on a couple of cylinders. Ran it around the block thinking it might clear up but no luck. It doesn't seem to be a fuel problem as there is the smell of unburned fuel. Any thoughts on where to start? Thanks.

Start it up and check each header pipe to see if they are all hot. 3. Buy SeaFoam and run some of that through. After that, more diagnostics will be necessary. KA
Checked and battery is good. Gas OK. It's firing on cylinders 2 & 4. Sounds like a damn Harley.
ironmike
Fuel injected..? If so, check the fuel pressure regulator... Do a search on the topic - it's pretty well covered...
rockmeupto125
So not firing on 1 and 3? What the hell? The coils are 1,4 and 2, 3. What sense does that make?

KA
Thanks to everyone for their help. Today I put in new plugs and air filter and it runs like new. It was nothing more then old fouled plugs.
