StPeteXX
I have a newer D208 with around 800 miles on it. No issues with it at all. I have the original D205 on the front with just over 9,000 miles on it. I loved the Avon 35/36 on my YZF. Those tires made it a completely different bike to ride. Would there be any issues with running the D208 on the rear and a new Avon up front? This is with the intention of replacing the D208 with an Avon when it wears out. Pete in PA
If I had the option, I would run a higher traction tire on the front then the rear. Since you already have a higher traction on the rear then the front I would say go for it. As far as mixing diff. brands I have done it with no problems. I refuse to pitch a tire with life left in it.
