The steel sprocket I got is functional, but kinda stock looking. Nothing blingy. I was looking at a Vortex Gold anodized aluminum sprocket, or a tri-color (can't remember where I saw that one). Email or call them, and ask for Mike. Tell him you're from this board, and you were told you could get one for $119.95. I figure by the time I will need tire's it will be time for a sprocket change, not a bad compromise for precise gearing option really. The Titan Tough aluminums are just hard anodized. I would not trust them to outlast a chain, and doubt that they would even last that long on a big bike. They'll be OK for 3500k miles or so, with no visible wear at all, then they'll turn to shit in 1000 miles as soon as the hard outer layer wears off...
