marylandxx
Does anyone know if the K & N oil filter is any good. I didn't feel like running down to the local honda shop, so I picked up a K & N. The guy at the shop said that it is good. Will I be ok using it or should I go get a honda. The K & N cost me another 2 dollars but the gas to the honda shop would have cost me more than that, thanks
jcrich
I use them on my track bike ( the one with the nut welded on the end) works fine.
lexxus
A better filter, and maybe cheaper would be a purolater pureone#pl14612
rockmeupto125
I'm sure the K&N is adequate. But I'm glad you checked here instead of just relying on your local professional. The guy at the shop said that it is good.
Furbird
That huge oil filter comparison that's online said that the K&N was some other brand with a nut welded on the end of it and like $5 or $6 more just because it says K&N on it. The Purolator Pure One PL14612 will work on all birds, and the PL14610 will work on some with full systems, like my D&D. Not sure if they will work on stock manifold bikes or not. It is rated at the very top, virtually tied with the Mobil One that is signifcantly more expensive.
