Keith
I've just put a Givi Wingrack and top box mount on the 'bird so need to shorten the rear turn signal stalks. I was sure I'd read here somewhere that it was possible to separate the flexible part from the hard part and thus shorten the whole assembly, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how they come apart. :icon_think: There are no screws holding the two halves together that I can see and just pulling them isn't getting me anywhere. A search of the forum hasn't turned up anything on it. Has anyone here that's done it and, if so, can you offer advice? If it can't be done, I guess I'll need to order some shorter units from Lockhart Phillips or someone. Thx.

rockmeupto125
I think most situations and mods have already been addressed here, on the longest running US XX forum. As a matter of fact, Carlo's original web page held this information in detail. But a quick search will turn up things like this.... http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forums/index.php?...ignals++shorten

The link to the "other" board was a good one, as it had description and pictures of how to tear apart the stock stalks so they can be shortened.
